RMHS honors fall sports athletes

Rocky Mount High School handed out fall sports awards during a ceremony held on Monday, Dec. 8 in the school's auditorium.
Here are listings of all the award winners in the sports of JV football, varsity and JV volleyball, women's tennis, men's soccer and men's and women's cross country.
Varsity football awards, however, were not given out at the ceremony as the team had just completed play for the season. Those awards (NEW 6 Conference Championship for the team, Most Valuable Player, Top Defensive Player, Top Offensive Player, Billy Smith Lineman Award) will be announced at a later date.
The varsity volleyball team and the women's cross country team were also recognized for their victories as NEW 6 Conference champions. Varsity Volleyball
