Rocky Mount has won the last seven meetings - its longest winning streak in the series.
Fike hasn't won since 2001 - a 21-12 Golden Demons win @ Fike with current Duke senior running back Requan Boyette as their QB his freshman year.

RM has outscored Fike in their last seven meetings 271-71 - so the average score has been 39-10!
Longest Fike winning streak was five - 1965-70. Of course, Fike won 4-A state titles in 1967, '68 and '69 with guy named Carlester Crumpler.
The 1999 meeting was cancelled due to the flood brought on by Hurricane Floyd. RM had three cancelled that season (others were @ Tarboro and an endowment game at home with Richmond County).
RM leads the series 28-20-2 beginning in 1958.
Only one OT game in the series: Fike won 35-34 in 1989. Biggest Fike win - margin-wise was in 1968 - Fike won 35-0.
Biggest RM win mragin - 2006, 61-0 and 1978, 67-7
B.W. Holt was RM's most successful coach vs. Fike going 6-0 (2003-08). RM's longest tenured coach Walt Wiggins (1970-82, 1993) was 6-6-1.
RM has recorded seven shutouts, Fike five.
