Nash County Post 58 to face Mooresville in state tourney opener

GREENVILLE - Nash County Post 58 will face Mooresville Post 66 in its opening round game Saturday at the N.C. American Legion State Baseball Tournament.
Mooresville (17-11), the No. 2 seed from Area III lost a best of three series with Rowan County Post 342 2-0 (lost 18-2 and 17-10).
The first pitch is scheduled for 4:30 p.m.
Note that there has been a change in Sunday's schedule. The loser's bracket games will be played at 3 p.m. and 7 p.m. at Guy Smith Stadium. The winner's bracket games will be played at 3 p.m. and 7 p.m. at Clark-LeClair Stadium.
